Calling all Pom lovers! Cedar is an adorable Pomeranian mix who weighs just 10 pounds at 6 years of age. This gentleman and his friend, Trace (also posted for adoption), are looking for their forever homes after their former family could not keep them due to financial reasons combined with too many dogs in the home. Cedar is ready to be your everyday companion! This guy loves snuggling up on laps for pats and loves his people. He would do great in pretty much any home or apartment setting. He is doing very well in his Tennessee-based foster home with his crate, leash and house training (after an initial period of learning a new schedule after he moved in). He is also cat tested and has had no problem with them. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
