Cayenne

Cayenne 33 lbs Heeler mix Female (Spay scheduled 9/18) Approx. 1 year old (very much a puppy personality) Cayenne is the sweetest dog we've ever met. She absolutely loves people and other dogs. She gets along very well with every dog she has met of all sizes and temperaments. She is great at reading the room. Whether you have an older dog who only wants to play a little bit or a younger dog full of energy she will match their level of play! Cayenne's favorite activities are playing with dogs, playing fetch and taking naps on the couch (she's a cuddler). She is still learning to walk on a leash but is getting better on the every day. She is a very quiet dog, so quiet that we haven't heard what her bark sounds like yet! Cayenne will whine when she gets overly excited or wants to go outside, but even then it is very soft and quiet. She was an angel when we bathed her and the groomers said the same when they gave her a bath and clipped her nails. She is working on crate training as well. During the day she will put herself in her crate and watch his foster dad work. It's really become her little house inside her foster house. She hasn't had an accident in the house yet and we don't think she will as she lets you know when she needs to go outside. Cayenne was very afraid of car rides when we got her but they have become her favorite thing to do as she's learning they lead to playing with other dogs or pup cups! Cayenne would do best in a house with a fenced in yard and preferably another dog to play with. You can really see her personality shine when she is outside running around. She hasn't been introduced to kids yet but we are sure she will love them as much as she loves everyone else.
