Cassie

Cassie is a beautiful purebred White German Shepherd currently residing at the shelter. Cassie is estimated to be 1.5 years of age and 50-60 lbs. Cassie is very sweet and gentle to be a larger dog and has shown no dog or people aggression since coming into the shelter. In fact, she loves people of all sizes and is very calm around them. She does not, however, fare as well with the feline persuasion so she will be placed in a home without cats. The man who brought Cassie to the shelter suspects she was dumped at his house as he heard a car door one night, looked out and saw a car pulling away but found nothing. The next morning, Cassie appeared on his doorstep and no one in the neighborhood has ever seen her before. If this is the case, the person who dumped her threw away a wonderful girl. If this is not the case, someone must be looking for her at this moment. Cassie has a wonderful temperament and personality and catches on to things very quickly. She would do well with a fenced yard or a home where she had room to run and play as she will need exercise being a larger dog.
