Casper

Casper is one handsome fellow. He is really still just a puppy, probably under one year old. Casper is extremely athletic and active. He walks well on a leash once he gets going, but he is starved for attention, and his greeting is very exuberant and rough. We are working with him on staying down and not jumping up. Once Casper knows he has your attention, and he is not going to be left behind, he calms down into a smart, attentive companion. An experienced dog person is recommended for Casper as he does have some behaviors that are going to require management until he learns the ropes and knows that he has found his forever home. This young dog is desperate to have a home of his own and will reward any family with wonderful companionship. Casper is going to undergo surgery for a torn cruciate ligament. This will be paid for by the generous benefactors at Tommie’s fund. He is going to require some special care post surgery. Casper is going to make a wonderful companion once he gets his knee issue taken care of. He has been neutered and he is heartworm negative. He is highly trainable.
