Casper

ADOPTED! - Hi Everybody! My name is "Casper" and I'm guessing that I was named after Casper the Friendly Ghost--only I'm Casper the Friendly Maltese! I'm tiny (I weigh 7 lbs.) and I'm only 2 years old so I would love to run around in with another dog my size in a safely fenced yard (please, no invisible fencing). My foster mom says I'm really easy-going, and I'm not sure what that means but I think it's something good! Anyway, I think it would be so cool to go for walks and just "hang out" with you. I need a home of my own where I will get lots of love and cuddling. But--because I'm so tiny--my foster mom would prefer that the family who adopts me not have very young children, because they might inadvertently injure me. Also, I don't want to be a latchkey dog, so an adopter who works just part time, is retired, or works out of his/her home would be great for me. I'm working on my housebreaking skills but am not quite "perfect" yet, so I would need an owner who would be willing to patiently continue my training. I'm neutered, heartworm tested, immunized, wormed, and microchipped and my adoption fee is $275--which I think is a good deal considering I've been totally vetted!
