Meet Casper! This sweet boy came into TCHS due to the health of his owner. Casper's previous owners described him as being a sweet cuddle bug who loves his humans. They even described him as a velcro dog, loyal to his people. Casper has done well with children and other dogs, he has not met cats. He would benefit from slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal into the home. He can be a bit nervous at first, but with patience and TLC, he comes around! It can take weeks or months for animals to settle into their new environment, so time and patience are your best tools. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. He loves going for walks and car rides! He enjoys sitting on the couch and watching TV with his owner. Casper would love to have durable toys to chew on and squeaky toys! He also likes to play tug! His owner described him as eager to learn and mentioned he would be easy to train! Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.
