My Story

AVAILABLE AT OUR FLORIDA LOCATION Are you looking to add a fun-loving, free-thinking, four-pawed copilot to your life? If so, look no further than Cash! This four year young red husky is as devilishly handsome as they come, and is the cleverest boy! Cash is a beautiful combination of free-spirited and loyal. Though he has a mind of his own, like your typical husky, he wants nothing more than to love an owner who understands his needs as an independent, intelligent breed. He is down for any adventure you have in mind, but loves to give and receive affection once your explorations are over. Once Cash opens up to you, his playful, jokester side truly shines through! You will never have a dull moment with this guy by your side. He would do best with either an experienced husky owner, or someone who understands the unique needs of breeds who are independent and occasionally partake in willful disobedience. This is because Cash, and other working breeds, are highly intelligent, and occasionally assertive. Cash is currently working with a professional dog trainer building skills with a prong collar, and working to releive reactivity to situations he deems uncomfortable. We are looking for adopters with experience and the dedication to continue this work with him. He is an energetic and truly friendly-natured guy. He has done well with several other dogs, though he can be selective on which pups he likes to spend time with- he prefers those who match his play style of chasing and “stalking”. Though he has bonded with staff members and volunteers at the shelter, he is not built for life in a kennel. Cash is one of the most affectionate huskies you could ever know, and he deserves to be loved by someone who appreciates his unique characteristics.
