Australian Shepherd/Lab Mix. Birthdate approximately 12/07/08. Very active – Need lots of exercise. Very intelligent - Need to learn tricks or participate in lots of activities. This puppy was part of a litter of 9 who were born under an abandoned house. Their mama was a dog who had been left there when the people moved away. She & the puppies had to fend for themselves through some of the coldest nights last winter. Through the kindness of people in the neighborhood, they were given food & water. Second Chance Pets was contacted & they were rescued. They were covered with fleas, full of worms, dirty & scared of people. Now they are healthy, clean, well fed, friendly & happy.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Petco on Bay Area Boulevard. The adoption fee starts at $125. All dogs are heartworm tested, on heartguard, fixed, vaccinated, dewormed and defleaed. All dogs are microchipped.
