Carson needs very special and particular home without kids, men, or other dogs. This poor guy was owner relinquished in December of 2020. He knows some commands and is very smart.
He would likely do better in a home rather than an apartment and he will be a little slow to warm up. He does LOVE the water and would do better as a mostly indoor dog. So far he has not done well around other dogs.
Of note, a male volunteer said with dedication and patience, he was able to win Carson over after a few weeks after persistent/careful contact!! Please consider this sweet boy if you think your home would be a good fit.
This perfect owner will need patience to be ideal to truly see his potential and give him the chance he deserves.
