This sweet girl was turned in after being found in a park. She has an injury to her rear legs-see notes below-x-rays attached.
Citizen found dog laying down, unable to stand at the park. Puppy's back left leg bends in an unnatural way at the hock, dangles.
Per vet, giving bupi inj 0.45ml and carprofen25 0.5 tablet

- Nonweight bearing lameness of Right Hindlimb, extreme laxity of right hock
- Places mild weight on left hindlimb but unstable and slides out
A:
- suspect fracture of right hock
- unsure if pelvic fractures
P:
- buprenorphine inj 0.45cc BID x 3 days
- carprofen 25mg SID x 14 days
- gabapentin 100mg cap PO BID x 14 days
- radiographs scheduled for tomorrow 8/2/24
08/02/24 07:30 sedated for radiographs of pelvis & RR limb
8/2/24: rads show RR mid transverse displaced tibia/fibula fractures.
***needs radiologist review and orthopedic consult***
