Though her name might remind you of an Italian entre, Carpaccio is all dog! Meet Carpaccio, the pretty 78lbs dog who appreciates patience and kindness as she builds trust with new people. Carpaccio can be a bit nervous around new people, and the shelter environment is particularly overwhelming for her. However, once she's outside and gets to know you, she is very sweet and happy to walk by your side. One of our volunteers recently shared that Carpaccio is making wonderful progress, noting, "She came right out of her kennel and was able to play all the games this time. She will even go to you for petting once she knows you." Carpaccio might need a bit of time to trust new people, but once she does, she is very happy and affectionate. Carpaccio may be indifferent to other dogs, so we recommend bringing any resident canines along to meet her to ensure a good fit. We are confident that Carpaccio will blossom in a relaxing home with someone who can reassure her that life isn't so scary. Then, come in during our open hours!
