Can you believe that my sister, Madeline, and I were left in a pet taxi at a local animal shelter with not so much as a note explaining why someone did not want us. Well, the nice gentlemen there contacted CAAWS and a foster home was available for us to go into. How lucky is that. So, we traded in our pet taxi for a house, fur-siblings, human siblings, love, attention, lots of food and medical care. I am a female wirehair Dachshund mix born 1/7/09. I am current on shots and heartworm prevention and been spayed. Foster mom says she cannot imagine someone not wanting to keep us and promises to find us the perfect hom. We are really bonded to each other so we must be adopted together.
