My name is Carmen. I am currently at the vet having my surgery and getting all my shots. I want to be ready for my forever home. I have had a rough go of it. I was found living in the woods behind and apartment complex in Columbia, TN. This lady started to feed me. Eventually I trusted her. She let me live with her and her other dog for quite a while. She taught me how to stay in a crate while she was at work. She did not want me to run off or get hurt while she was gone. She gave me a dog house to sleep in. Sometimes I got to stay inside so I know not to do my business in the house. Well she lost her job and moved away. Sadly she could not take me with her. This other nice lady and her husband made sure that I did not go to the pound but they could not take me home. They already have too many dogs. So here I am at the vet with no place to go. Won't you please help m e. I am a good boy. I am very calm. I love to be with people and I love to be petted. I get along fine with everyone. I will be ready to go somewhere on April 19.
