Meet Carmen!
Carmen is the happiest, bounciest little 7 year old doxy mix dude! When he was surrendered to the shelter, he had hurt his back so badly that his back legs didn't work at all. With some R&R, lots of TLC, and many many cuddles, his legs are functional again and don't slow him down one bit, though he's still a little unbalanced. He loves car rides and sunbathing in the backyard. He is so vocal when he gets excited and does that very cute dachshund "woo-woo!" howl to let you know just how excited he is. He is so interested in my cat, but his short legs don't really give him the opportunity to mess with him like he'd like to. His favorite place to be is cuddled up next to you under a blanket or in the kennel with dachshund foster sisters (also under blankets cuddling.) Carmen is loyal and fun and would be such a sweet addition to any household.
