Carmella is a 2-year-old, 40-pound (she’s currently on a weight loss journey) Jack Russell Terrier mix. Carmella is a perfect mix of playful and chill. Always happy to nap but will never turn down a play session with another pup! She loves kids and other dogs. Carmella enjoys walks and loves to lie in the sun. She would be outside all day if she could. Carmella is currently recovering from surgery to fix her luxating patella so that she can run and play like she wants to!
If you are interested in adopting Carmella, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
