Meet Carla (Animal ID: 55135245 at Fulton County Shelter) Her description on her current profile says it all. She is an absolute sweet and calm lovebug, but also has plenty of energy if you're a more active person! She's truly such an easy pup - you can take her on a run with her keeping up but not dragging you down the sidewalk, and then head to an outdoor patio where she'll lay down and take a nap regardless of what is happening around her. Age: 1 year, 3 months Weight: 55 lbs give or take. A perfectly medium sized pup Energy levels: low to medium Dog friendly: Yes - I have two (crazy, high energy) dogs and she did so well with them and their antics Kid friendly: Yes! Cat friendly: Unknown Crate Trained: Yes! She goes in easily with a treat for encouragement and is quiet and just naps House trained: Yes, she does her business as soon as I take her out. And has lasted through the night (8 hours or slightly more) in her crate with no incidents. Car: She did great on an hour long ride yesterday! No barking or whining, and she just napped the whole time No separation anxiety or destructive behavior. Overall a happy calm girl, she is very affectionate but not needy - no separation anxiety and not necessarily a velcro dog. She's happy to chill on her own or cuddle on the couch. She'd be a great first dog for someone who needs an easy pup to learn about dog ownership. Easy to leave at home alone - crated or uncrated. She's non-destructive and just naps all day. Also a perfect fit for a family with kids or other dogs/cats that need a calm addition to the family, who will go with the flow of lots of different personalities.
