Cara

Cara is an approximately 2-year-old, 40 pound sweet Boxer/pittie mix. While she has a very sad story before coming to Stop the Suffering, Cara's bad days are over and this girl is as loving and kind as can be. She may have applications in progress, but is currently available. Cara was abandoned in an apartment building and found by a good samaritan after several weeks. She was not in good shape, but with love and medical care, she has recovered very well. She is currently fostered with other dogs and cats and attends doggie-day care daily. She has also lived with small children and is loving and kind to them. Cara is calm and quiet and is a loving couch potato at night but must have daily exercise and active routines. Cara is fostered with a very experienced owner who has multiple pets but her foster mom feels she would do best in a home with male dogs only or as an only dog. Adoption fee is $350 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only. STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
