My Story

Captain Picard is a snuggly and sweet boy pup who came from Yakima with his 7 Star Trek themed siblings. He is one of the few in this litter with white markings, these on his face, making him even more handsome. In this situation we know that mom is a heeler, and dad a black lab, an accidental litter. He is doing great with his foster, learning all the new puppy skills like sleeping in the crate, leash walking and potty training. He's also done great at meeting new people and other dogs, both at the rescue and on field trips with his foster. Please email us at [email protected] if you would like to meet him. And please be patient. We have one adoption coordinator doing their best to coordinate adoptions for many pups. ================================================= ***WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER INQUIRIES OR PHONE CALLS, ONLY EMAILS.*** If you have any additional questions, or would like to adopt Captain Picard, please send us an email at [email protected] and we will send you an adopter survey. Please note that we are a foster to adopt only rescue. As a foster, you get to "test drive" your chosen dog to make sure it's a good fit prior to adoption. We want you and the dog to have the best fit possible! Resilient Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue in Seattle, WA. 100% of adoption fees go towards helping us save more high-risk animals, and unite them with their forever families in the PNW!
