CAPTAIN

Captain was so frightened when he first came to us..... His eye had been seriously injured, and he had no idea where he was. We're guessing he had never have been away from home before because he wasn't familiar with the idea of a kennel. Yet, as scared as he was there was never a growl, never a snarl. No one knows how the eye injury happened. The necessary surgery was done, and the eye is now a permanent wink. Captain's also been neutered, has all his shots, and has tested negative for Heartworm and Lymes disease. Now all he needs is a new home. UPDATE: Captain's presently in a foster home. They tell us he's housebroken, and good with their 5-year-old grandson. He's still a little timid in new places, but they believe that's because he lost the sight of that one eye. Captain loves the outdoors and going for long walks. When outside he gets along with all the other dogs he encounters. However, due to his special needs we prefer to see Captain as an only pet, and we feel a quiet household would suit Captain best. >>>>>>TERRIFIC NEWS! CAPTAIN'S BEEN ADOPTED!!<<<<<
