Mr. Cannoli has such a positive outlook on life, no matter the circumstances, he remains such a bright soul that can light up even the darkest of rooms. He is a very responsible pup that is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines and heartworm negative. Cannoli gets along famously with both male and female dogs, thriving in a lively playgroup of 15 furry friends. This cutie is great on a leash and wont drag you all over the place! He does well with dogs of all breeds, genders and sizes! He knows how to sit and come, and he even takes treats so gently out of your hand. He is a sprightly 3 years old and is looking for the perfect person to match his positive attitude and spend the rest of his life with. He gets a little embarrassed when people judge him for not having as thick of a fur coat as the other dogs, but then he remembers that he is just special and that’s okay. His thinning hair might attract a few playful jabs, but those who truly see him recognize the beautiful soul beneath. Cannoli’s best friend is a sassy husky girl, which is a testament to his remarkable patience and gentle nature. He’s eager to find a loving home where his joyful spirit and charming personality will be cherished for the amazing dog he is. Rain or shine, this pup is ready to go and will always be good company. A note about adopting animals from the Houston, TX area: Based on statistics, animals from this area are ranked some of the most desperate in the US. Euthanasia rates are incredibly high for both puppies and adult dogs. While this dog is protected in our care, there are many others waiting for their opportunity to enter a program like this one and be given a second chance. Our dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $500 for those being transported and $75 for those being picked up at our Angleton Tx location. It covers the cost of transport and includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, micro-chipping, a collar and leash, a complete summary of their medical records emailed to you, and many years of laughs and love to come! We provide socialization for our dogs through playgroups and one on one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
