Meet Canelo, a two-year-old, 48-pound golden mutt with a heart as warm as his stunning coat. This sweet boy is dog-friendly and absolutely adores children. He visits the dog park daily and has a gentle nature, especially around his toddler sibling.
Canelo's life began with a rough start—he was found abandoned in a trash bag as a young puppy with a broken leg. The kind person who rescued him couldn’t keep him permanently and is now facing severe hardship, including the loss of her own housing. We urgently need to find Canelo a loving family to prevent him from ending up in a shelter.
Canelo is house and crate trained, smart, and very food-motivated. He loves going for walks, car rides, and adventures. With his low-shedding coat and perfect size, Canelo is ready to join a family that will continue his basic training and shower him with love.
