Hi! I'm Candie, a very sweet 8 year old Japenese Chin/Pekingnese mix who is revisiting Young At Heart after my owner's Parkinson's disease progressed to the point where she cannot care for me anymore. And because the rescue always takes there precious adoptees back, here I am! I'm a super-sweet little girl, a bit chubby at 16 lbs (really, I should be 13 pounds!), but just a bundle of love and affection. I love people to pieces, and will kiss you and wiggle my little butt with happiness at the sound of your voice. I don't mind other dogs or kids, though kitties may be a bit too intriguing for me. I am a healthy little dog, though my owner triggered some food allergies by feeding me everything under the sun, so I'm on a diet of Salmon & Sweet Potato dog kibble, which should help get my body back on track- I'm a bit itchy because of the allergies, but that should stop once all the food allergens are out of my system. I am housebroken and very quiet, and just want an older person to love me and dote on me and let me spend the rest of my days getting tummy rubs. Is that you?
