Candice

Candice is a stunning, three year old Neopolitan Mastiff . Although we don't know Candice's previous history it is clear she was traumatized as she has been terrified of people. She is slowly coming out of her shell with the help of staff and volunteers. It has been very rewarding to see how Candice is beginning to feel a bit more trusting. Candice is a large, powerful dog and needs a strong and experienced and patient owner. This breed is known for intelligence, peacefulness, calmness, wariness of strangers and protectiveness of the family. Candice will need daily exercise ( two daily long walks) and can live in an apartment. It is highly recommended that this breed be given obedience training due to their size and strength. Our experienced staff is available to meet with you and help with the transition to your home. There is excellent information online about this breed, and training information on the Petfinder site. Candice is spayed, dewormed, treated with Revolution to prevent fleas, ticks, ear mites and heartworm and is up to date with vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $200.00 and she'll get one free exam at our vet's office, one free month of pet health insurance and a microchip.
