Meet Candace! Candace arrived at our shelter shy and malnourished, but with each passing day, she's been blossoming into the beautiful soul she was always meant to be. With a little patience and plenty of love, Candace is learning to trust and appreciate the kindness of people. From being shut down and sad to discovering the joy of playtime, Candace's transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. She's eagerly embracing the world around her, learning how to play with toys, romp in the pens, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. While Candace may still need some time and patience to fully come out of her shell, her progress is undeniable. She's learning leash walking with our dedicated staff and volunteers, and though she may pull at times, her eagerness to learn is shining through. Candace's could potentially live with another dog, pending a successful meet and greet. She's also well-suited for a family with children aged 14 and up, where she can continue to thrive and grow alongside her loved ones.
