My Story

Looks like I am waiting for my new name too! Until then, you can refer to me as the pretty blue-eyed girl who was once scared and desperate on the home page of the website. No more, 'cause Dal Rescue found a way to get me and my family out of the shelter and into a safe place. While we are still looking for foster care, but we are happy to be together, well fed and cared for in a loving way and not laying on cold concrete like before. I am very petite, only 28 lbs. Somehow we are all related. Little Piper is the pup and very tiny. Audrey and I have been used for breeding. That has all changed too since the shelter spayed us before we left. It was risky since we have heartworms, but we did o.k. and are now waiting on more medical funds and to get healthy enough for treatment. In the meantime, we are all hoping for a foster home and maybe even a permanent home once we are heartworm free and Doc releases us from medical care. I can't wait until then. I and my family are longing for a sense of belonging, permanency and a forever loving family to call our own. As soon as my new name is given, I'll let you know, even though I cannot hear it 'cause I am deaf, a name will give me my own identity. For now I am resting and enjoying my new life and anticipating what's ahead. Lots of love.................
