Foster or adopter needed!
Meet Calvin Calhound! He’s a 3 year old hound mix weighing around 55 pounds. He was found as a stray in rural SEMO and brought into rescue. Unfortunately, Calvin had been shot and needed his front leg amputated, but that doesn’t slow him down. He’s a happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys snuggling his human. We feel Calvin would do best in a home with someone single as he becomes very attached to one person. He does fine with his foster dog siblings, but would be ok as an only dog. Calvin does not do well with cats because of his prey drive. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and on preventatives. Calvin is crate trained, rides great in the car and is treat motivated. He will need an experienced adopter who will continue to work on his manners and one who has a fenced yard.
