Calvin (03-143) is a red & white male basset. Here's Calvin's story in his own words... "Hi, my name is Calvin. I am a red and white 5 year-old basset. Here is a little history about me..I was lost and picked up by animal control and they knew who my family was. They called my family to come and get me, but they did not want me. I don't know why my family did not want me, what did I do?? Well, the BHRG people picked me up, and I was placed in a kennel. I am not sure how long I was there because all the days just seen to blend together when you're sad. One sunny Saturday, a new lady came to my cage and scooped me up and out to the car we went. I wasn't very happy in the car, I don't like car rides to much, but hanging my head out the window was a-ok.! She took me to her home where there were two other dogs and a huge yard to run in!! I wasn't housebroken so my foster mom and dad have been working with me and I am now 100% housebroken. There are no little people in my home but I've been around them a couple of times and they seen to be ok. I really don't care for other male dogs since I want to be your only boy. I like to get on the couch and lay in my foster parents lap. I like to run really fast in the yard and run after the big dogs. I like to eat, sleep and play!
