Button - baby (around 14 weeks of age) - black with white markings - mutt who appears to be primarily Lab - 14 pounds

Button and his brother Rickrack share a common wisdom - when in doubt, surrender. For them discretion is truly the better part of valour, and if they are somewhat overwhelmed by the change in their stations in life, they are hanging in with determined openness.

Both boys are large, in fact they are as solid and chunky as little mailtrucks. Their expressions are soft and full, and they are slowly getting the hang of navigating doors, playing with toys, and have made fast work of giving themselves up to the happiness of being held and hugged. Both pups regard leash work with extreme suspicion at this writing, although once they have had a bit more time in care, this will begin to come more easily.

Devotion, commitment, and consistent care will be more than amply reflected back to Button's adopter(s), who will recognize in his little spirit much more than an absence of experience, but an endearing and gentle willingness to learn and to love.
