My Story

Buster has been adopted by a wonderful family who is committed to giving him a permanent home! We think Buster is a pretty lucky boy to have such a great 2nd chance.
Buster is going to group training with Zen dog and his adopter will be able to continue attending these donation paid classes. He is doing great in a large class of dogs and "stayed" in his place while lying a few feet from 2 other dogs. He is still nervous about encountering strange dogs, but has come a very long way in a short time. Buster would love a big yard, and an owner who wants a loving loyal dog and understands how to be Buster's leader. Buster doesn't care about the weather, he loves to be outside watching for squirrels! Buster also likes cheese and will do anything to get a peice!

December 2006:
Buster is a lovable, playful and affectionate boy with big brown eyes. Buster is a "velcro" dog, he follows you around like he is attached to you. Buster has settled in easily to his foster home of 2 females and one male Shar-pei. He spends a lot of time as the pillow for his tiny, bossy, Shar-Pei foster sister! Once he has had some exercise, Buster is happy to be a blanket potato and curl up in front of the fire with the girls. Buster will wedge himself in between his girls no matter how small the space is! And if you sit on the floor, Buster will practically sit in your lap, he loves to be close to people.

Buster will lie on his blanket during dinner and stay there even though the other dogs might be getting scraps.
He is fully house-trained and well behaved at home. Buster is a submissive dog and needs a good leader with a strong leadership skills and a commitment to training, which has already been started.
Buster has always lived with other dogs and definitely wants to be #2 dog. Buster is playful and would love to have a nice big yard or farm to run around in.
Buster has on-leash anxiety when he sees other dogs and needs to feel secure with his leader to continue to over come this. Buster will be starting group training this week to start his confidence building when on-leash and around unknown dogs.

Buster is eager to please and has lots of love to give his adopters. He is an angel at home and just needs time and training to help him deal with his on-leash issues.

Please get in touch with us to find out more about Buster and to arrange to meet him and his adorable foster family.
