Buster

Meet Buster. He is one happy boy. You see, he came from a really bad place who didn't feed him good food or give him medicine for his allergies. When we picked him up, he was miserable. No hair, red, bloody skin and oh so sad. Now 2 short weeks after he came to us, he looks 100% better! With good food, antihistamines, fish oil capsules and special shampoo, he is growing new hair (almost needs a haircut!) and he isn't scratching himself raw and bloody anymore. Both ears were down due to fly bites on the top of his ears when he came to us, but now one is up and we are hoping the other will follow. What a change!

Through the whole ordeal, Buster has been the sweetest, most loving boy you can imagine. He constantly wants to be close to his humans, sitting with us on the couch and following us around the house. He sleeps well in his crate, is getting much better at potty training and is learning to walk on a leash.

Buster is going to make a wonderful pet for someone who has lots of love to give in return. Please give Buster a second chance at life. Buster is 3 years old.

Update May 6, 2007: What a difference just 3 weeks makes! Look at Buster now. He has improved so much that he even got a haircut this week. Sporting some healthy white fur, Buster is feeling much better. He is beginning to play with the other dogs and is making his place in the pack. As happy as Buster is, he would still love a forever home.
