My Story

Sex: Intact Male

Age: 10 years - DOB 1999

Stray/Surrender: Surrender

Housetrained: Unknown - keeps a clean kennel at the shelter

Notes from Buster:Looking for a pair of beautiful Huskies? Look no further – for we are proud to introduce Moo & Buster, the pair of purebred Siberian Huskies! Buster was born in 1999, and has one blue eye & one brown eye. He is smaller than Moo, weighing in around 60 lbs. Moo was born in April 2006, and is the larger of the pair weighing in around 70 lbs. Moo has the piercing blue eyes! They MUST be adopted together – as Buster is very dependant on Moo. If you watch the two of them together, Buster gravitates towards Moo.

Moo & Buster are used to living outdoors in a kennel. When Moo was a puppy, he did live indoors until he was about a year old. He was housetrained then, however if adopted as an indoor dog would need a refresher course on housetraining. They do keep a fairly clean kennel.

Moo & Buster were owner surrenders. According to their owners – they have lived with children & farm animals. They are not good with smaller animals such as cats and birds (chicken, geese, etc). Although it’s been awhile, they have pulled a sled in the past. When they pulled a sled they were trained the commands of hike, whoa, gee, & haw.

Buster is a very mellow fellow, while Moo is an active, playful, outgoing guy. They make the perfect pair – both calm & active – they complement each other well. Because we are requiring they be adopted together, we have reduced their adoption fee.

ADOPTION FEE $80 (Cash or Check Only) for Moo & Buster together
.This pet has not yet been spayed/neutered. The adopter is required to sign an agreement that they will have this done, and will receive a $25.00 sterilization rebate to help defray the cost.

Potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application. The application will be e-mailed upon request or can be filled out in person, at the shelter, during open hours. E-mail is the fastest and most reliable way to contact us: [email protected]

Please note – it does take several days to process an adoption application and to determine approval status. Your patience is appreciated.
