Burt is about 5 years old and is a big couch hippo that wants nothing more than to cuddle and touch you. He has become avoidant of most dogs just to stay away from any trouble. He has done amazing with a puppy and surprisingly gentle.
Burt would do best in a home with an older or calm dog but absolutely NO CATS. He can adapt to an active lifestyle or be fine with a calm home environment.
Fully house trained, kennel trained, doesn’t chew or destroy anything except stuffed toys, great on walks, and great with kids.

Our adoption fee covers our dogs being up to date on vaccines at time of adoption, spay or neuter surgery, microchip and rabies vaccine. We also deworm, treat existing illness and start each dog on heartworm and flea prevention. Go to Canehavenrescue.com to fill out an application to adopt.
