Burt is a handsome 16 week old little fella who weighs around 28 lbs so should only be a medium sized dog fully grown. This poor sweetie was abandoned with his siblings on a bridge in TN: thank goodness a kindly lady rescued them and brought them to our foster! They like to play---like the company of other pups but are more submissive if they don’t know the dog—like chewies & squeaky toys—like napping in the sun: who wouldn't ??? We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
