My Story:
Sweet, cute, & cuddly! That pretty much describes us! We're Woody and Burnie. We're little brothers that had a really rough start in life. When we were really, really little, our owner decided he didn't want the litter of puppies his dog had. There were six of us back then. He decided to stuff us all in a wood-burning stove, knowing that we wouldn't be able to survive on our own. Luckily, two of us were rescued. Sadly, the other four didn't make it. We're really sad that somebody could treat us that way. We're so young and innocent, and we didn't do anything to hurt anybody. We were brought to the Shelter to be helped, and a very nice lady and her family took us home to take care of us. They spent a lot of time feeding us, talking to us, and loving us. They gave us lots of baths and cuddle time. They taught us that life is going to be OK again, and now we're back at the Shelter ready to be adopted. Because our foster family spent so much time with us, we're very used to being handled. We are very good with children, as well as other dogs and cats. We are about two months old, but only weigh 9# each, so we're very small puppies. Because we are so little, the nice Shelter people think that we are Lab mixed with Beagle, and so will be smaller dogs when we grow up.
