Burke is a male Black Lab mix pup who is estimated at 7 wks of age (10/27/06). Burke and his siblings came to the shelter as strays after they were found abandoned along a very busy road in Lawrence Co. Burke looks like your typical Black Lab except his has flecks of golden in his coat that gives him a brindle appearance. His brother, Duran, looks like a Golden pup so that is probably where it comes from. Burke is a very handsome boy and a lot of fun to have around. He loves to wrestle and play with the other pups and was very healthy when he came into the shelter (other than a bad case of roundworms which have been treated). Burke has been started on vaccinations and dewormings and will be neutered prior to leaving the shelter.
