Bullen was rescued from Clinton County Animal Control on May 4, 2007, when his time was up there. He and his yellow brother, Dean-o, had been found running down a highway in Bath, Michigan. Bullen and a kennel mate, Mary, were accepted into the Leader Dogs for the Blind program in Rochester, Michigan on May 5.
