I was contacted by two senior-aged people about two dogs that they found abandoned at a local truck stop for 3 days. This animal loving husband and wife duo took in these two dogs- A border Collie and a Lab/Great Dane Mix. The couple are on a fixed income (disability and retirement) but kept the Border Collie.
