My Story

Buford is a tri-colored, neutered male who came to BHRG from Cartersville. He is a beautiful, healthy, friendly boy. Buford has settled into his foster home well. He gets along well with other dogs, is 100% housetrained, and loves to play. He has an abundance of energy, and if you won't play with him, he will entertain himself. Buford loves to go for walks - just show him a leash and he is ready to go. He also loves to go for car rides and is well-behaved in a vehicle. He loves to play with kids and be where the action is. He is very submissive and laid back but can hold his own when he wrestles with other hounds. He tolerates teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and baths like a champ. He is crate-trained but rarely uses one. His favorite nighttime sleeping place is a chair. Even though he is a good-sized basset, he thinks he is a lap dog and loves to share the chair with his foster dad. Buford would make a great addition to an active family.
