READ THIS STORY. Buddy is approximately 1.5 years old. He was found starving at 25lbs. Upon arrival at the shelter, he was attack by a much smaller dog. Buddy did not fight back. He has been passive in all his interactions with dogs, cats, children and adults. Buddy was not in good physical shape after the attack. He was isolated then the shelter staff noticed hair loss and probably mange due to stress. He has been treated and will be good as new in no time. Through all this Buddy has continued to be kind, playful and happy regardless of his situation. Buddy is ready for a forever home and love that is unconditional and kind.
Update on Buddy:Buddy is an incredibly friendly pup! He gets along well with other dogs- even the ones he meets on his walk! He is a great companion to his foster-sis, a 2 year old chocolate lab. They love playing together, wrestling, playing keep away with toys and chasing eachother in the yard. He walks well on a leash. He loves giving/receiving affection & definitely loves belly rubs! Buddy loves his dog bed and likes to curl up on it to go to sleep. His hair is growing back full & beautiful.
Buddy likes being outside in our backyard but also wants to come inside when his foster mom is home. He's never had an accident inside & has good house manners. He is a super sweet boy and will be a great 'buddy' for any family!
