NEW PHOTO: STATS: Age: 6-8 years old; Medical: Neutered, Up to date on shots, hw- and on preventative. General: Housetrained, crate trained, good in the house, excellent house manners, good around other dogs even though he doesn't necessarily play with them. Extremely laid back! Check out Buddy, he is ready for some summer grilling! This guy came in with the name of Wizard but it just didn't fit him so it was changed to Buddy which he does respond to. Buddy with two piercing blue eyes, he is a big, easy-going, stay-at-home kind of mellow fellow who would like nothing more than to have a companion to go on long walks with him. Buddy is NOT a high energy dog at all, he is more of a couch potato. He likes he simple life of a romp in the yard to stretch his legs, a nice long walk with his companion and a comfy place where he can stretch out. He had been found wandering through a neighborhood-going door to door for food and love. While there are other dogs in his foster home I would not label Buddy as a playmate dog at all, he doesn't mind the other dogs but doesn't run out to play with them either. Buddy now appreciates just having steady meals, a soft place to lie down, and a ready hand to pat his head. Buddy does not bolt through an open door or run away when off leash. No lightweight either at 25+ inches tall and the body of a linebacker. If you would like a noble, loyal friend, Buddy is your guy. Buddy does like sleeping next to me but will reluctantly sleep on his own bed if asked. Buddy would be perfect for someone looking for a loyal companion for long walks and friendship.
