Would you like to meet this dog in person? Almost Home Canine Rescue will be having a Meet and Greet inside Pamida in Madison, SD on Saturday January 20th from 11am-3pm. We will accept applications for adoption during the event but we do NOT do on the spot adoptions. A home visit must be completed before an adoption is approved. See you at Pamida!

Buddy is a darling little yorkie/peke mix. He is about 6-7 years old. He is a friendly boy, and likes other dogs. He likes toys and loves going on walks. Please email us for an adoption application. Buddy is in foster care in Sioux Falls.

Buddy is neutered, utd shots, kennel cough vaccinated, heartworm tested. His adoption donation is $150. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

Important things to know before you contact us:

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The email address you're using is managed by one or two people. Please be patient.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.
