Buddy . . . what a perfect name for a family Lab who's truly a great buddy! About 5 years old and a just right 70 pounds, he's a handsome stockier Lab with a blocky head and friendly, smiling eyes. Buddy's family lost their home and he lost his family when they had to leave him behind at a shelter to move on with their change in circumstances.
Buddy made himself right at home and quickly won the hearts his foster family. He's a total goofy character and has a great Lab temperament --pleasantly active, friendly, well adjusted, adaptable and very happy. He's housetrained and accustomed to family life and very much enjoys kids. He knows his basic commands - sit, down and to come when called. He keeps "four on the floor" when greeting folks, and does a cute little excited bounce on his front legs when he sees you. Buddy gets along great with his canine foster siblings; in his former home he lived peaceably with a cat.
Buddy asked us to mention that one day while in our care he had a seizure. "The vet checked me out and gave me a daily med that's got me in tip top shape. I'm happy to report I haven't had another since!"
Good-natured Buddy is ready to go when you are and loves to be out an about, but is perfectly content to hang out or take a snooze. So lovable and a friend to all, Buddy is eager to get settled in with his new family and finally have a loving place to call home forever!
