Buddy was rescued from an Ohio shelter on the day he was scheduled to be put down. Buddy was a personal turn in to the shelter from a man who was no longer able to keep him (or his other buddies whose fate landed them also in the shelter) due to his landlord saying he had to go. At this shelter, there is a 3 day holding period and then they are euthanized but lucky for Buddy, someone was there to bail him out. Buddy is estimated at 2 years of age and he is solid red in color, except for a small white patch on his chest. He loves children, other dogs, cats and seems to be housetrained. He is the ideal family pet and also being smaller in size, he would fit into almost any type of household. He has the typical Basset bark and personality and is content to lounge on the couch or play with children. He is a real jewel and is full of comic personality!
