Buddy was found in the beginning of April. He is about 1 year old, weighs 65 lbs. He appears to be a golden retriever mix. He has been to the vet to receive vaccines/boosters. He loves to be outside, and has been fine around young (5 and 7 year old) children. Buddy walks beautifully on a leash. My 7 year old can walk him! He does not have any food aggression or possessive behaviors around people. Buddy had a few wounds on his paws when he arrived, and has very patiently allowed medicine to be applied to his paws and has taken oral medication to prevent infection with no problems. Buddy has been around many other dogs and seems to enjoy their companionship. Buddy does not get along with cats.
Due to us being a not for profit rescue group we adopt our fosters within an hours driving distance from the Matthews, NC area. Sorry but we are not able to travel any further distances and we do not ship out animals.
