Buddy

Are you looking to find the perfect sidekick to be your shadow wherever you go? Do you have a confident and easygoing dog currently and looking for a friend? Look no further than this handsome lad, Buddy! Buddy is a super outgoing, affectionate, goofball of a boy on the lookout for that perfect forever family to bond with. Buddy is around 4 years old and is a handsome black Staffordshire (pittie) boy. Buddy loves going for car rides, exploring nature to take in all the wonderful smells, and just hanging out with his people. He has even participated in our Walk for the Animals event, and our DirtyPaws run. He is very polite and nonchalant when seeing other dogs or people when out and about and will even get excited wiggles when he sees someone he knows. Buddy is looking to find a home where someone is home majority of the time, and who have experience working with Separation Anxiety. Buddy loves pretty much every person he meets and is pretty neutral when meeting new dog friends, but when given time to build rapport does get goofy and playful. He's looking to find a home with a confident but easy-going canine companion that'll keep him company when his humans aren't around. But also, one that once they're comfortable with each other will play too. His most recent dog pal here is Jaycee, they love to co-exist and just hang out together. Buddy's one hurdle is he has serious separation anxiety. He is on medication that should be continued while he learns that being alone isn't the end of the world. He hates everything about being crated but seems to do better when given room to roam and things to distract his brain from worrying about his humans.
