Buck = pending

Buck was a stray found in Meadow Lake who was never claimed by an owner. He's a young male lab, shepherd cross - approx 9 months old (Sep 09). He's a typical friendly and energetic young lab cross. He was recently adopted by a lady who loved to run however she found herself allergic and had to return Buck to MLDHS. She said he was a fabulous dog, rode well in her car, was fine in the crate at night, never made a mess in her house (though she gave him lots of trips outside). He found his "spot" in her house where he could watch her and the rest of the house. She took him on a 10K run and he did great, heeled right with her. He also loved the water at the lake. Turns out he loves to run and if you are a jogger, he just might be the dog for you. She says he's got a lab temperament, wanted to be with her all the time, but as he's grown he's showing more shepherd looks. Quite the handsome guy with a nice shiny coat. Please consider giving Buck a home - he's patiently waiting for you and because he's already neutered, had shots and microchip etc. - he can go home with you right away.
