Bubba

Bubba came to us from a neglectful situation where he and his sister Scarlett (also available for adoption) were suffering from significant hair loss, fleas, skin infections, and were quite thin. When they first arrived they were both quite scared and fearful, not having been shown much love, affection and certainly not vet care, previously. In short order Bubba realized these kind people were helping him (and they always brought yummy treats) and he opened up nicely and now will give some kisses, sit on command for treats and really seems to enjoy his time with his favorite volunteers. He loves to run in our fenced in play yards and has discovered the joy of a stuffed squeaky toy - what a sight to see him finally being allowed to have fun and enjoy himself. Bubba is overly focused on cats so no cats in the home for him, and he would do best as an only dog (but can be walked around dogs here on the trails) in the home. Bubba deserves to finally have a safe, loving forever home, where he will be cherished for the beautiful, sweet soul that he is.
