My Story

5/6/10: Say hello to Bryce! He's a 1-2 year old, smallish shepherd mix (maybe Australian maybe German or maybe cattle dog - we don't know for sure) who weighs in at just about 30 pounds. He thinks that's a perfect size for a dog, and he hopes you agree because he'd really love to find a forever home soon. He has German shepherd type markings and gorgeous almond shaped eyes that seem to say, take me with you.

Bryce thrives on human interaction - the more love he gets, the more he seems to have to give back! He'd also be thrilled to find a home with other animals - he seems to think the more, the merrier. Bryce is always happy, alert and full of play. as much as he LOVES human affection, he's not greedy. He's actually one of those rare gems who doesn't mind when the other dog grabs the spotlight. He would make a great second dog.

Bryce is incredibly good natured. He loves everyone he meets: people, dogs and even cats. He hasn't met in children in foster care, but he has not given his foster mom any reason for concern. He would fit in well in just about any household, and he'd probably be happiest in a fairly active one. He loves to play and snuggle and in his dream home, someone would be home a lot.

Bryce is learning to walk on a leash and he seems to understand a few simple commands, like "no." He sleeps in his crate at night and has started to figure out the house training thing. Like any rescue dog, Bryce would benefit from formal obedience classes. He seems eager to please and eager to learn! He is also really enjoying having toys to chew for the first time in his life.

Bryce is an uncomplicated, loyal fellow who just wants to find people who will love him forever. He'll make a great addition to just about any family!

Bryce loves people and loves to get attention. He does great with cats. When he sees a kitty he just ignores it. He is crate trained, house trained is unknown. He is a very playful and loving guy that is looking for his forever home and would love to fetch a ball for you or go to the dog park.
