Brutus

Great news! A wonderful woman came to look at Brutus and Sadie today and wants to adopt them both together, pending Brutus' surgery. We are still in need of assistance with his medical bills, so please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring one of them.*******Brutus has not had such a good life so far but now he is at STAR and everything is only going to get better for this poor guy! He is in pretty bad shape right now but as soon as he gets his surgery for some growths on his belly and hind end and gets neutered he will be much better. He was being fed moldy food while tied to a dog house and drinking from a creek for the last five years! He is awfully thin but with three meals a day we are determined to get him healthy. He has had blood work done and that all came out fine and he had a fecal and surprisingly that was fine too! So in two weeks when he is stronger he will be getting surgery and then he will be ready to find his forever home. These two dogs (Brutus & Sadie) have the most wonderful temperaments ever! Such a bunch of sweeties. If you can not adopt please consider sponsoring them as our vet bills will be outrageous by the time this is all said and done with!
