Brutus

Brutus is a 5 year old English bulldog, who is good with dogs, cats, humans, children and everyone. He is affectionate, funny, and quiet. However, he can also be stubborn and bully, therefore an experienced bulldog adopter is ideal for him. Brut does not like closed places as he used to be locked up for hours in a previous home he was rescued from. He does prefer a second dog as he is very playful but he will be fine to be an only child. He was abused by one of his many homes he has moved from, and gets fearful if you raise your hand. He can be alpha, so someone with authority and experience will be the right person for him. He does not like changes, therefore he needs to go to a home where he is going to have a permanent life. Brut is about 65 lbs now, but needs to lose weight. He is fully vetted, current on vaccination, and is neutered and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and kept on preventatives. Brutus has been diagnosed with Disc Degenerative Disease and is on pain management with anti inflammatory. He must not jump up and down stairs or couches or cars. A ramp of a travel crate is highly essential for his car rides. Even though he loves kids, given his condition, we will prefer a home without children.
